Sr. Agnes Le First Profession Dec 27, 2014
December 27, 2014 – St. John Apostle and Evangelist - Please join us in thanksgiving as we celebrated the First Profession of Sister Agnes Le Doan today.  She made her commitment this morning during the celebration of Mass and received the black veil.  According to the Rule of St. Benedict, the Novice writes her document of Profession and lays it on the altar.  Just as the holy sacrifice of Jesus’ Body and Blood is offered on the altar, so the whole life of Sister Agnes Le is offered to God.  We were delighted to welcome Abbot Philip as our Celebrant and some of the other monks of Christ in the Desert, to help with the singing.  An extra blessing was the presence of Sister Agnes Le’s children who participated in the readings of the Mass and Prayer Intentions.  Congratulations, Sister Agnes Le!  (Just click on the picture to get a larger display.)
